Andrea Barbaccia is an acclaimed Italian composer recognized for his powerful and immersive scores for video games, trailers, and films. He created the complete soundtrack for the video game The Stitchers, which won first prize from the Lucana Film Commission at the Matera Hack 4 Plan; the Coffee Break video game, which received a special mention for "Exceptional Audio" during the VirtualVerse Game Jam, boasting over 40,000 downloads and a 94% positive rating on Steam; and La Dama Bianca, which earned special recognition from popular streamers for its engaging narrative themes.

 

His portfolio also includes additional music for the Netflix series Fabrizio Corona: io sono notizia, which became the most-watched TV series in Italy a few days after release, along with music featured in various commercials and international sports events.

In addition to composition, Andrea has as a sound engineer handled recording, mixing, and mastering for artists and composers such as I Virtuosi Italiani  and Salvatore Sciarrino.

Andrea started his musical journey as a metal guitarist but has had a passion for classical music since childhood. He graduated from Scuola APM in Saluzzo, Italy, and later specialized in Applied & Interactive Music at AIV - Accademia Italiana Videogiochi.
